Choose your miniature garden

Choose the Glass Purse kit for an open-top glass garden with Fittonia, a rare Marcgravia cutting, live moss, and a miniature patio table and chairs. An included step-by-step guide walks you through assembly. After building, keep it in bright, indirect light and lightly mist every few days.

Prefer a closed-jar landscape? The Century Ecosystem DIY Terrarium Kit uses a vintage Kerr Mason jar with a lid, a Marcgravia cutting, live moss, and river rocks.

Meet the Glass Purse kit

Hi there, nature adventurer

If you are looking for a unique weekend project or a truly memorable gift, you are going to love putting this together. I fell in love with these heavy duty glass purse containers and knew they would make the perfect home for a tiny, magical world. This DIY kit lets you build your own miniature tranquil park, complete with a tiny white patio set nestled right into lush greenery. It looks absolutely stunning on a sunny desk, a bookshelf, or a nightstand.

What’s inside the box?

I pack every single kit by hand to make sure it arrives on your doorstep looking perfect.

You will get the heavy glass purse vessel, a vibrant Fittonia (nerve plant), and a healthy cutting of rare Marcgravia, a gorgeous, shingling tropical vine that terrarium collectors absolutely love. You will also receive all the necessary layers to build a healthy ecosystem (drainage stones, activated charcoal, premium soil, and fresh live moss), plus the cute miniature chairs and table.

Don't worry if you're a beginner

I include an easy, step-by-step assembly guide to walk you through it!

Simple Care Info

Once your miniature park is built, just place it somewhere with bright, indirect sunlight. Because the purse has an open top, it loves a light misting every few days to keep the moss damp and the humidity high enough to make the tropical plants happy.

Colder Weather & My Live Arrival Guarantee

Because this kit contains live tropical plants, they cannot survive freezing temperatures during transit. If your local weather or the shipping forecast drops below 40°F (4°C), please remember to add a heat pack to your order at checkout. To qualify for my Live Arrival Guarantee, a heat pack must be included in cold-weather shipments. If a heat pack is purchased and any plant arrives damaged from the cold, just send me a photo within 24 hours of delivery and I will happily ship out another or refund you the price of the plant.
