Welcome Back, what we have available today... If you are looking to add some dramatic, moody vibes to your indoor jungle, this Begonia 'Black Velvet' is exactly what you need I am absolutely obsessed with its deeply lobed, near black leaves, gives off a gothy feel They have a velvety texture that catches the light beautifully, but the real surprise is on the flip side the leaf undersides and fuzzy stems are a vibrant, rich maroon red It is a stunning contrast that makes it stand out on any shelf This isn't a fresh cutting or an unrooted starter plug that you will have to worry about nursing to life It is a happy, healthy, fully rooted plant growing nicely in a 4-inch nursery pot I've already potted it up in a chunky, welldraining soil mix designed specifically to keep rhizomatous begonias thriving, so its root system is established and ready to take off in your home A Quick Guide to Keeping it Happy Light Place it in a spot with bright, indirect sunlight Keep it out of harsh, direct midday sun so those gorgeous dark leaves don't scorch or fade Water Give it a thorough drink only when the top inch or two of soil feels dry to the touch. Begonias hate sitting in soggy soil, so letting it dry out a bit keeps the roots healthy Humidity It loves moderate to high humidity It will do wonderfully in a humid room, near a humidifier, or as a centerpiece in an indoor terrarium or vivarium setup Just a quick reminder Nature is beautifully imperfect, so your plant might vary slightly in shape, size, or leaf count from the photo I pack all my plants with extreme care using secure, insulated materials to ensure your new green baby arrives safe, sound, and stress free Winter Shipping Policy & Live Arrival Guarantee Please check your local weather forecast before ordering If your daytime temperatures are falling below 40°F, a shipping heat pack is strictly required to protect your live plant during transit If a heat pack is not added to your order at checkout, I cannot guarantee the plant will arrive alive, and I will be unable to offer refunds or replacements for transit related cold damage Thank you so much for understanding and helping me get your new plant baby to you safe, warm, and healthy ecosystem As always reach out to me with any questions, care tips, needing assistance of any kind, I'll be more than happy to answer them promptly
